Dieses Jahr hatte ich zum ersten Mal die Gelegenheit, auf der ISE (Intergrated Systems Europe, größte Messe für Audio, Video und dazugehörige Integrationen) meinen Arbeitgeber zu vertreten. Barcelona ist Ende Januar schon 15 Grad warm und sowieso immer eine Reise wert. Erst hab ich mich geärgert, dass ich kein Hotel nah an der Messe gefunden hatte, aber der Weg durch diese wunderschöne Stadt mit dem Fahrrad war ein absolutes Erlebnis 🙂 Der Dienst auf der Messe war sehr anstrengend, da man eigentlich 5h permanent unter Ansprache ist, aber auch super interessant. Besucher aus der ganzen Welt, ich habe bekannte und neue Kollegen getroffen und einiges dazu gelernt. Ich hoffe sehr, dass sich diese Gelegenheit noch einmal ergibt. Jetzt gabs einen kurzen Wäschewechsel und morgen gehts nach Amsterdam, wo wir wie schon letztes Jahr unsere  Hausmesse “Cisco Live!” veranstalten und ich noch einmal 4 Tage Standdienst machen werde. Mal sehen ob die Stimme hält 🙂

EN: This year, for the first time, I had the opportunity to represent my employer at ISE (Intergrated Systems Europe, the largest trade fair for audio, video and related integrations). Barcelona is already 15 degrees at the end of January and always worth a visit anyway. At first I was annoyed that I hadn’t found a hotel close to the trade fair, but the bike ride through this beautiful city was an absolute experience 🙂 Working at the trade fair was very exhausting, as you are actually constantly in conversations for 5 hours, but it was also super interesting. Visitors from all over the world, I met familiar and new colleagues and learned a lot. I very much hope that this opportunity will arise again. Now I’ve had a quick change of clothes and tomorrow I’m off to Amsterdam, where we’re organizing our in-house exhibition “Cisco Live!”, just like last year, and I’ll be on stand duty for another 4 days. Let’s see if the voice holds 🙂
